At Express Bifolds Direct, we are manufacturers. Every aluminium bifold door, sliding door, French door, skylight and window is produced at our own UK manufacturing facility in Leeds.
By manufacturing in house, we retain full control over quality, lead times, and consistency. There are no overseas factories, no external fabricators, and no unnecessary mark ups, allowing us to deliver dependable aluminium solutions, without compromising on standards.
We only use high quality, thermally broken aluminium, ensuring excellent thermal performance, strength, and longevity. To complement our aluminium work, we also receive glass from some of the world’s most respected manufacturers. Each delivery is carefully cleaned, inspected, and evaluated against glazing regulations and our internal standards. Our customers value the confidence of knowing exactly where their products are made and who is responsible for delivering them.

Our manufacturing facility reflects our commitment to British production. Operating for over a decade at our current site, the facility spans approximately 200,000 square feet and employs more than 300 skilled team members.
Every stage of production is completed under one roof. Aluminium storage, machining, glazing, assembly, inspection, and dispatch are all handled by our team. This allows us to uphold the same standards across our entire collection.

Aluminium profiles are carefully inspected on arrival before being precision machined using advanced CNC technology, ensuring accuracy across all faces. Powder coated finishes are checked for consistency, while glass units are thoroughly cleaned, inspected, and tested prior to fitting.
Before dispatch, every completed frame undergoes a final quality check. This disciplined process supports long term performance, durability and reliability across all aluminium doors and windows we manufacture.
Stock Bifolds and Faster Turnaround
Scale allows us to do more for our customers. We typically hold 200 to 300 stock bifolds at any one time, ready for quick dispatch.
By batching production and holding pre-made bifolds, we reduce waste and shorten lead times. Many of our stock bifolding doors are available within 5 working days, making them ideal for builders and developers working to fixed schedules.
