The 4 panel and 5 panel ranges sit close together because it is overall width, not panel count on its own, that has the biggest effect on price. A wide 4 panel door can end up costing about the same as a narrower 5 panel door, because you are paying for the total run of aluminium and glass rather than a fixed price per panel. Height has a smaller but real effect too: our standard XP10 height options run from 2,090mm up to 2,202mm (including t-vents), and taller doors use more material across the full width.

The single biggest lever for a lower price is buying a pre-made stock size instead of a bespoke build. If a standard width between roughly 1.8m and 3.3m works for your opening, it is worth checking the pre-made range before specifying a bespoke size.

For non-standard openings, a bespoke build remains the right choice, and the XP10 range covers widths well beyond 6m. The trade-off is straightforward: pre-made costs less and arrives faster, bespoke costs more but fits an exact opening.
